2.appoint vt.任命；委派；约定；指定(时间、地点等)
•appoint sb(as/to be)... 任命某人为……
appoint sb to do sth 委派某人做某事
appoint time/a place for 为……约定时间/地点
•appointed adj.约定的；指定的；被任命的
at the appointed time 在约定的时间
eg. (全国卷Ⅰ书面表达) Firstly, it is better to arrive 5 or 10 minutes earlier before the appointed time but it is fine on time.
首先， 比约定时间早到5至10分钟比较好， 准时到达也可以。

【点拨】　absolute adj.意为“完全的；绝对的”，没有比较级；不能被very修饰，但是可以用nearly修饰。
6.suit n.一套外衣；套装 vt.(服装、颜色等)适合；使适宜；相配(match)；合心意(fit)
