【点拨】　英语中常使用拟人修辞手法的句子，主语通常是表示时间、地点或心爱之物，如车、船等的名词，谓语动词常为witness，see，find等。
2.opposite prep.在……对面adj.相对的；相反的 n.反义词；对立面；对立物
•be opposite to 与……相对；在……对面
in the opposite direction 向反方向
•the opposite of...……的反义词/对立面
eg. (四川卷书面表达)Good habits always lead to high efficiency, while bad ones lead to the opposite.(学校生活)　 好的****惯经常使得效率增高，而不好的****惯效果恰恰相反。
3.drag vt.拖；拉；扯
drag sb down 使某人沮丧
drag one’s feet/heels 做事拖拉；迟迟不做
drag...out of...把……从……中拖出来
drag sb into (doing) sth把某人拖入到(做)某事中
eg. (2022·广州模拟)She was standing sideways near a platform, dressed in a plain coat，dragging a suitcase, and holding a plastic bag in the other hand.
她侧着身子站在站台附近，穿着一件便衣，拖着一个手提箱，另一只手拿着一个塑料袋。
4.urge vt.催促(press)；驱策(inspire)；极力主张(advocate)n.强烈的欲望(desire)；冲动
•urge sb催促某人做某事
urge sth/sb on 催促某物/某人前进
urge that...(should) do sth 极力主张/强调……做某事
It is urged that...(should) do sth坚决要求……做某事
•have/feel an urge to do sth 渴望做某事
•urgent adj.紧急的；迫切的
urgency n.紧迫；急迫；急事
eg. We strongly urge the school to stop this case from happening again.
我们强烈要求学校阻止这种情况再次发生。
5.abandon vt.放弃；遗弃；抛弃 n.放任；放纵
•abandon oneself to...沉湎于……；纵情于……(to为介词)
abandon doing sth 放弃做某事
•with abandon 放纵地；放任地
•abandoned adj.被遗弃的；无约束的；无度的；放纵的
be abandoned to 沉湎于……
eg. (陕西卷书面表达) I wish that sports day could be abandoned and replaced with some other less－competitive event.　我希望运动会可以被取消，替换为一些不那么激烈的赛事。

6.help (...) out帮助(某人)摆脱困境或危难；协助；使(某人)脱离困境
•help sb with/(to) do sth 帮助某人某事/做某事
