1.involve vt.牵涉；涉及；包括(contain)；使参与(卷入)……
•involve (doing) sth 包括(做)某事
involve sb/oneself in (doing) sth 使某人参与(做)某事
•involved adj.参与的；投入的
be/get involved in /with 卷入……中；热衷于……
be/get involved with sb/sth 与某人混在一起；和……有密切联系
•involvement n.参与；卷入；牵连
eg. Students should involve themselves in community activities where they can gain experience for growth.(建议信)　学生应该参加社区活动，在那里他们能够获得成长的经验。
2.delighted adj.快乐的；欣喜的
be delighted to do sth 很高兴做某事
be delighted that... 很高兴……
be delighted at/by/with 因……而高兴
eg. (2020·新高考卷Ⅰ)He was so delighted that he could hardly speak，but his bright smiling face spoke for him.
他高兴得几乎说不出话来，但他那灿烂的笑脸却将他的高兴显露无遗。
3.assist vt.帮助；协助；援助(help，aid)
•assist sb to do sth 帮助某人做某事
assist sb in doing sth 帮助某人做某事
assist sb in/with sth 帮助某人某事
•assistance n.帮助；协助
come to one’s assistance 帮助某人
with the assistance/help of 在……的帮助下
•assistant n.助手，助理；售货员
adj.助理的，辅助的
eg. (2022·常州模拟)This passenger might be someone who needs my assistance.
这个乘客可能需要我的帮助。
4. submit vt.递交；呈递(文件等) vi.(使)屈服
submit sth to... 向……呈交某物
submit oneself to... 屈服于……
submit to... 屈服于/服从……
eg. (全国卷Ⅰ书面表达)It is important that you should submit your article before 28th, June.　重要的是，你应该在6月28日之前提交你的文章。

5.eager adj.渴望的；热切的
